Welcome to the PAGC Spring 2021 Tournament to be played at Moose Ridge Golf course. May 14th and 15th 2021. We think you will find this course to be very beautiful, and playable with scenic views all over the place. Feel free to take the hole-by-hole course tour at the link above.
This years’ tournament will be honoring the memory of Jacek whom many of you came to know by playing in the previous Michigan tournaments. Jacek Jaszczur suddenly left us, but his love for golf and these tournaments was unprecedented, so we remember him by continuing the Michigan tradition.
There will be dinner served after golf each day outside on the deck at the golf course, and this has been reserved for our group only.
Your $250 tournament entry fee will include:
36 holes of golf with cart
Driving range balls both days
Dinner on the golf course deck following your round each day
Trophies for Gross and Net winners
2nd and 3rd place awards
Closest to the pin prize (day 2)
Longest drive prize (day 2)
Monetary prizes and amounts to be determined once we have number of players locked in.
We will also have an optional skins game for an additional fee.
An optional Thursday practice round can be purchased by calling the golf course at 248-446-9030, and telling them you are with the PAGC tourney. The cost will be $50 but the tee times are filling fast with currently only early morning available for 18 holes.
The tournament will be played using each player’s current handicap to determine the net and gross winners over the course of 2 days. In the event of a tie for the net score, we will use the player with the highest handicap as the winner. In case of a tie in the overall gross score, we will have a playoff at the end until a winner is determined. We ask that everyone register their current handicap when signing up so those numbers can be public for all to see. If your handicap changes before the tourney, then please update via email at email@example.com we can get the most up to date handicap for you. Some of us have the GHIN handicap, and for those of you who do, please input your number on the signup page.
All USGA golf rules will be abided by, and other rules will be announced before the beginning of tournament as you all know Michigan weather can be hit and miss, so we may need to make revisions.
Once you have registered for tourney, you will receive an email with deposit instructions, and your deposit of a $150 will be due to secure your spot. We will be limited to a maximum of 40 players; anybody over that will go on an alternate list. This years’ event is open to all Amateur golfers of Polish or American descent, but no one with a handicap of under 4. We ask all to sign up ASAP so we can get an accurate head count for the food, number of tee times, and to determine monetary prizes.
